Prepared crime could be broken down into two fundamental models. One being the bureaucratic model, and the additional being the patron-client version. These two models have some issues in common with each other, and they also possess a few dissimilarities. The big similarities is that the bureaucratic model uses a strict set of rules to run their firm by. The patron-client style does not have got such a strict group of rules, but instead there is a set of principles of traditions. This in turn gives them a similarity because it builds a network where there is a kind of rank structure. Another likeness of these two is that both equally use lawbreaker acts, and individuals with abilities to be great at criminal acts to obtain cash and electricity. These two types also have a few differences. The most important difference was the structure from the two companies. The bureaucratic used a hierarchy composition which provided a army like chain of order. The patron-client model set their business up to become more decentralized. This kind of gave every crew the cabability to work on their own and basically govern themselves until some with a specialised skill was needed. At that time the main market leaders would get in touch with the crews to have that each do the job necessary for the whole business. Another difference of these two came in the results. Although both of these companies were successful the bureaucratic was more efficient when it came to obtaining results from a crime. While on the other hand the patron-client unit was far more efficient by avoiding recognition from the law enforcement officials while managing a criminal firm. These two types have both equally similarities and differences, yet both proved to be a successful approach to run an organized crime organization for many years.
