The film, The Matrix happened in both equally a virtuelle realitat and the real-world. The leading man, Neo, tried to understand how having been chosen to be " the main one. ” His goal was to fight off the agents who had been not only computer programs yet also the gatekeepers from the Matrix; therefore , Neo and Morpheus were required to fight off the agents so the human race might cease to be manipulated and used for energy. Since Neo was " the one, ” the most highly effective being out-and-in of the matrix, he may manipulate or perhaps change anything at all in the matrix. At first Neo questioned his reality as they had an indefinable feeling that something was wrong with the world; therefore , Morpheus approached him, offered him the " probability pills, ” and trained him to work with his power for the freedom of all human beings.

The utopian urges of progressivism, behaviorism, and technophilia are evident in the film. Before the matrix existed humans sought better conditions to boost their contemporary society through technology. This technophilia, manifested simply by all of the movie's characters, assists lead to the change from contemplating to dystopia. In the 21st century a persons race, marveling at the benefits of machines, continually refined technology. Eventually, the machines switched back around the humans and used human energy to power the machines. In a single scene a personality confirms, " Ignorance can be bliss. ” Humans were unaware the matrix trained them to cause them to become happy. The matrix blinded the people towards the existence of the real world. Inside the matrix the humans believed they were progressing. However , that they stood continue to, frozen in utopia " gone awful. ”
